At PlantekWest our motto is simple: “It’s Your Project, let’s make it happen.”

Our talented and attentive team asks questions – and we listen to your answers. Your dreams, needs and goals guide our ideas and solutions from the initial concepts to the ribbon cutting. We get to know you and establish a comfortable working relationship – fostering mutual respect and open and honest communication. Our combined experience and personal attention make what could be an overwhelming process enjoyable and rewarding.

PlantekWest was founded on the theory of collaboration: collaboration with clients, contractors, tradespeople, consultants, vendors, building officials and public agencies.

Once your project begins, we keep the conversation flowing with frequent communication – discussing evolving needs and offering design alternatives. Throughout the design and construction process, we make your job easier by serving as your representative to contractors, city and state code officials, and other consultants. This level of attention to detail and quality relationships based on established and earned trust is what distinguishes us and keeps clients coming back.

My Story

As a young girl growing up in the vibrant landscapes of Peru, I was gifted with a unique perspective that would shape the course of my life. My father, a visionary developer and contractor, opened the door to the fascinating world of architecture and construction for me. It was a world where empty lots held the promise of becoming single-family homes, multifamily dwellings, or bustling commercial structures.
In those early years, I often accompanied my father to his construction sites, watching in awe as skilled workers transformed the raw elements of steel, rebar, and concrete into habitable spaces. I marveled at the intricate dance of builders, each move calculated and purposeful, as structures rose from the ground, seemingly defying gravity itself.
My father’s knack for turning these once-neglected properties into valuable assets wasn’t just a livelihood; it was a testament to his vision, determination, and the immense potential that lay hidden within the world of construction. Witnessing the transformation of those lots into thriving real estate ventures left an indelible mark on me.
As the years passed, and I reached the crossroads of choosing my own path, there was no question in my mind. Architecture and construction were the natural choices. I yearned to be a part of the process that breathed life into architectural blueprints, to shape spaces that weren’t just functional but also beautiful, and to carry forward the legacy of my father.
My journey into the realm of architecture and construction has been guided by the profound lessons learned amidst those Peruvian construction sites. It’s a journey fueled by a passion for transforming ideas into reality, of turning dreams into tangible, enduring structures. Today, as I embark on each new project, I do so with the same sense of wonder and determination I felt as a young girl in Peru, knowing that every building we create has the potential to be both a testament to our craft and a valuable asset for its owners.

I partnered to create Plantekwest as a design and construction firm committed to turning vision into reality. Drawing upon the rich experiences of my childhood and the expertise gained over the years, I strive for Plantekwest to craft exceptional spaces, meticulously planned and smartly executed, for our valued clients. With each project we undertake, we strive to honor the legacy of my father and the spirit of transformation that ignited my own journey.

My background includes a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona, Master’s of Architecture from UCLA, Masters in Business from Pepperdine and alumna from Harvard Business school.
